Our History
I & F Enterprises are based in Leicester. Operating throughout the UK and the Asian markets, we aim to provide a bespoke service to individual companies seeking suitable outlets for their waste polythene/redundant and scrap plastics.
Waste plastics can be a problem for many companies as it is a by-product from their main line activities. This we understand and will always endeavour to provide solutions that are designed to fit in with their existing operation thus keeping to a minimum any disruptions to the normal working routine.
We always try to ensure that where possible materials sourced within the UK markets are recycled in the UK. If however, the materials are not suitable for the UK markets then we would look abroad to the Asian markets.
During the past few years we have established some very good contacts within the Asian markets which has enabled us to find solutions to some quite complex plastics. Which, previously would have to gone to landfill as the material would not have been suitable for recycling within the UK.
This has allowed us to considerably broaden the range of plastics that can be recycled. Previously, the focus always lay with clean post industrial plastic which were uncontaminated. Today’s markets enable us to deal with either post industrial or post consumer plastics even if they are contaminated with paper/tape or other polymers.
